Hosted Trips for Travel Agents and Advisors

As a Travel Agent or Advisor, you can host private group trips for your clients through TourRadar's Hosted Trips programme — and earn commission on every seat while travelling with your group for free.

How it works

The experience is the same as for all RISE partners: complete your host onboarding in the portal, browse available tours, request to host, and share your Tour Detail Page with your clients. Your clients book directly through the page. See the following articles for the full walkthrough:

Your role as a Travel Agent or Advisor

As a professional acting on behalf of your clients, you manage all communication related to the booking. All client queries, special requests, and pre-trip questions are handled by you on the booking conversation page — your clients do not communicate with the operator directly. You are the single point of contact between your clients and the operator throughout the entire process.

This reflects how you already work with clients, and TourRadar's platform is set up to support this: the booking conversation thread on each reservation is wheextra effort of service you will provide.

Your free seat

Once your group reaches the operator's minimum number of paid seats (most start at 6, some require more), your spot is complimentary. The minimum is shown on each tour listing before you request to host.

Commission and payouts

Your commission rate is shown on each tour listing as a percentage of the tour price per traveller. As a Travel Agent or Advisor, your rate is higher than Ambassador rates, reflecting the professional service you provide to your clients. Commission is paid to your TourRadar Wallet 1 business day after the trip ends.

Cancellation

Each operator sets a cancellation cut-off deadline. If you cancel before this date, no fees apply to you or your clients. If the deadline passes and the trip is cancelled, fees will apply to all confirmed bookings. The cut-off date is shown on every tour listing — monitor it closely and communicate early with your clients if the group is not filling.
